What is this?

The Hudson Valley is an expansive region of New York State, located between the valleys of the mighty Hudson River and the majestic Catskill Mountains. It is an area where nature meets history and spirituality, brimming with stories of the past and potential for new narratives of the future. It is a region of distinct microclimates, from the warmth and humidity of the Hudson river to the cooler, drier air of the higher elevations. As well, it is home to numerous species of plants, animals, birds and amphibians. It has been home to centuries of diverse and resilient human communities, and continues to be an inspiring source of creativity and connection to the land.
